CM Maryam Nawaz’s “Apni Zameen Apna Ghar” Plot Scheme: Everything You Need to Know

1. Introduction

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has officially launched the “Apni Zameen Apna Ghar” (My Land, My Home) program, which aims to provide three-marla residential plots to eligible citizens across Punjab. If you are a permanent resident of Punjab, this scheme presents a valuable opportunity to own a piece of land—free of cost.

2. Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the scheme, you must meet the following conditions:

  • Permanent Residency: You must be a permanent resident of Punjab, as verified by your CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card).
  • District-Based Application: You can only apply for a scheme located in your CNIC-registered district. For instance, if your CNIC shows Lahore as your district, you can only apply for a Lahore-based scheme.
  • No Property Ownership: The applicant, their spouse, or children must not own any property (house or plot) anywhere in Pakistan.
  • No Criminal Record: The applicant should not have any criminal record, FIR, or involvement in unlawful activities.
  • Not a Loan Defaulter: Applicants must not be defaulters of any bank or financial institution. This includes loans taken through apps like EasyPaisa, JazzCash, etc. If your CNIC appears in defaulter databases, your application will be rejected.
  • Accurate Information: All details provided in the application must be 100% accurate. Providing false information will lead to disqualification.

3. District Quota (Phase 1)

In the first phase, the scheme covers 19 districts across Punjab with 23 housing schemes, distributing around 1,892 plots to eligible applicants. Some included districts are:

  • Attock
  • Bahawalpur
  • Bahawalnagar
  • Faisalabad
  • Gujrat
  • Jhang

Applicants should check the official shortlist of districts and schemes to ensure their district is part of Phase 1.
