CM Punjab is going to launch the first Rashan Card in Pakistan’s history on May 1st. In Punjab, Punjab Government is going to distribute Rashan Card to 12.5 million families. Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has announced the issuance of these Rashan Card starting May 1st, 2025.
Benefits of the CM Punjab Rashan Card
According to current information, through this CM Punjab Rashan Card, the Government of Punjab will provide 10,000 PKR every three months. If you also want to receive a Rashan Card, there are two ways to apply, which I will share in this article. Read this article from start to end because even a small mistake could lead to your application being canceled.

Official Announcement from Maryam Nawaz Sharif
First, as you can see on your screen, I’m on Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s official Facebook page where she posted on April 18th about launching the Rashan Card from May 1st. Since May 1st is Labor Day, this initiative is a gift from the Punjab government for the labor class.
Overview of the Rashan Card
Let me first give you an overview of what this CM Punjab Rashan Card will be like. It will be issued by a bank in the form of an ATM card. According to current info, every three or four months, the Punjab government will deposit 10,000 PKR onto this card. You’ll be able to withdraw it from an ATM or an authorized representative. It’s not confirmed whether the amount will be given every three or four months—this will be clarified on May 1st.
Eligibility Criteria for the Rashan Card
To qualify for the CM Punjab Rashan Card, applicants must be registered in the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER). Priority is given to low-income families, especially those who completed the earlier Ramzan Nigehban survey. Valid CNIC and updated household details are mandatory. Widows should provide their husband’s death certificate, and children’s B-forms may be required.
Now, let’s talk about who will receive the Rashan Card and how to get it. You can apply using your mobile phone or a computer. I’m showing it on a PC for better visibility, but you can follow the same process on your mobile.
Previous Survey and Eligibility
You might remember the “Ramzan Nigehban Package” announced earlier by the Punjab government. Those who completed their survey on the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER) portal received 10,000 PKR. You could do the survey online or with teams that visited your homes, or by going to a nearby help desk.
Update on the House-to-House Surveys
Here’s a good news update: Starting April 23rd, 2025, house-to-house surveys for the PSER will resume to include those who missed it earlier. This way, those who didn’t receive the Ramzan package can now benefit from the Rashan Card scheme.
Ways to Get Surveyed
Now, here are the ways to get surveyed:
- Teams Will Visit Your Home:
Citizens are requested to cooperate fully with PSER teams. Keep your CNIC and the mobile number registered with it ready. Widows should have their husband’s death certificate. Have children’s B-forms ready. - Visiting a Help Desk or Registering Online:
If you’re not at home when the team visits, don’t worry—you can still register by visiting the nearest help desk or by doing it online using your mobile phone. This initiative is also open to those who are living outside their hometowns due to jobs or other reasons. For example, if you’re from Multan but currently in Lahore for work, you can register there too.
Step-by-Step Guide to Register Online
To register online:
- Open the PSER Portal:
Open your browser and type “PSER.”
Click on the official PSER link. - Log In or Register:
If you’ve already registered, log in with your CNIC and password to update your information.
If it’s your first time, click “Register Now.” Fill in your name, CNIC, mobile network, mobile number, district, tehsil, email address, and set a password. Then click “Register.” - Create Account:
Once your account is created, log in using your CNIC and password. On your dashboard, click “New Application.” A declaration form will appear—save it and move on. - Complete the Application Form:
Next, a detailed form will open. Complete the following steps:- Provide details of the head of the family.
- Add all family members and their information.
- Add contact details.
- Provide asset and agricultural land information.
- Answer additional questions (e.g., if a child under 12 passed away in the last year).
Follow-Up Information
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you’ll receive the Rashan Card. I’ll make a follow-up video soon with a step-by-step guide on how to apply. The survey starts on the 23rd, so stay tuned.
